A Top Gaming Experience ( Pokemon Shield Review )

Excuse my, more than likely, cringy attempt at using British slang. Pokemon Sword and Shield have been out for several months now, and just recently had it's first batch of DLC announced. I figured now would probably be the best time to go back and give my thoughts on the newest generation of games.  Before I dive into the game itself, let me briefly mention the controversy that preceded it. The biggest being the absence of the national dex. This was the first main series game where you could not catch every single pokemon. Game Freak has gone on record saying that this was an inevitability. It makes sense as well. I don't believe I could name a single game series that has this quantity of unique character models and animations. It would be like asking Final Fantasy to put all characters and monsters into a single game and expect the graphics to look how the Final Fantasy 7 remake looks.  Now that the expansions have announced an additional 200 pokemon being added,...

All Aboard The Galar Express! (Pokemon Marathon)

It's A Brand New World We Live In Pokemon Sword and Shield are rapidly approaching. November 15th is practically around the corner. The release of the first mainline, home console Pokemon game will soon be on every Switch everywhere.  And this mad lad!  Wants to visit every generation before the game is released!  I am proud to announce that Pokemon will be invading both my YouTube Channel and this blog in massive volume in what I am dubbing:  Let's go over the itinerary, shall we? First on our list is the Kanto region, the one that started it all. Over on the YouTube Channel, throughout the month of July, I'll be uploading a Nuzlock Let's Play of Leaf Green. Uploads are scheduled for every weekend, but may pop up more frequently. Here on the blog you can expect a review of Leaf Green and a Ranking of my favorite first 151 Pokemon! I also hope to do a quick retrospective/review of the first season of the anime.  ...

Giddy about Galar: Reaction and Analysis to Pokemon Sword and Shield

Please excuse the unorganized and possibly flustered nature of this post. So Nintendo just released a new Nintendo Direct covering Pokemon Sword and Shield, the next generation that is set to release November 15th, 2019. I am beyond excited for it. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to watch the direct since I am at my day job ( where I'm currently writing this post :p ), so my information may be wrong or I may not cover everything. First I wanna talk about the few new Pokemon they decided to show us. I'll start with my personal favorite, Gossifleur. Look how pretty it is! I love it's design and all it's colors. I'm sure she's a grass type - grass only maybe? Again, I watched this at work without volume so I only got logical guesses to go on. It was revealed that Gossifleur has an evolution, the name currently escaping me, where it's head gets this huge balle of pollen and seeds. The seeds are said to be able to revitalize both human and Pokemon. ...
