All Aboard The Galar Express! (Pokemon Marathon)

It's A Brand New World We Live In

Pokemon Sword and Shield are rapidly approaching. November 15th is practically around the corner. The release of the first mainline, home console Pokemon game will soon be on every Switch everywhere.

And this mad lad!

Wants to visit every generation before the game is released!

I am proud to announce that Pokemon will be invading both my YouTube Channel and this blog in massive volume in what I am dubbing:

Let's go over the itinerary, shall we?

First on our list is the Kanto region, the one that started it all. Over on the YouTube Channel, throughout the month of July, I'll be uploading a Nuzlock Let's Play of Leaf Green. Uploads are scheduled for every weekend, but may pop up more frequently. Here on the blog you can expect a review of Leaf Green and a Ranking of my favorite first 151 Pokemon! I also hope to do a quick retrospective/review of the first season of the anime.

Our second stop will take us to the Johto region, a place I have never been. There we will Let's Play Pokemon Heart Gold. Here on the blog you can expect to see another ranking, this time of the newly added Pokemon. You'll also be treated to another review of the next installment in the anime.

Up next is our visit to the Hoenn Region. I've played through these games but have never beat the original, only conquering this region's league in Omega Ruby. For our revisit to this part of the Pokemon world we will be Let's Playing Emerald - the "perfect" installment of the third gen. Another Ranking of the added Pokemon and a review of the anime will also be conducted here on the blog.

If Sword and Shield are somehow still not out by now, then the hype train will be visiting the Sinnoh region, the trio of games that got me back into the series. We'll be tackling Platinum, adding more reviews and lists, and anything else we can think of.

If by some miracle I manage to do all of this within the next 5 months, then we'll keep the train going for as long as possible. The next set of Games, Black + White 1 & 2 and X & Y, are games I've never played ( and hopefully can find a way to record. ) In the event I am unable to record said games, I will still gladly post the blog material - reviewing what I can and listing what I love.

By now, surely Sword and Shield will have been released and we will have come to our final stop. I may try to convince Yanzer to do a blind Let's Play with me ( seeing as we'll be getting both games, along with a second Switch ) or we may just decide to enjoy the games our own way. Either way, this marathon looks like it's going to be tremendous fun and I hope to not miss any upload dates. You can expect the hype train to leave the station THIS Saturday, June 29th. I hope to see you there.

ALLL ABOARD!!!!

Thanks for reading. Are you excited for the next generation of Pokemon games? Are you excited for my marathon? Let me know in the comments and be sure to subscribe to the blog so that you'll get an email update whenever I post. Thanks for reading, and good night and joy be with you all.

The Best Girl | HuniePop Girls ...For All The Marbles

Foreword A quick disclaimer, ranking people based on attractiveness is gross and I'll punch you if you do this. That being said, the HuniePop girls are both fictional and exist solely for degenerates like me to enjoy , so we can make an exception, I'm sure.  For those of you who are somehow uncultured, HuniePop is a dating simulator game that utilizes a match 3 puzzle mechanic to develop your relationship with a cast of 12 ladies, eventually leading to sexy times. Each girl, for the most part, envelops a particular character type, such as Tiffany being the sweetheart or Nikki being the gamer girl, with some slightly deeper personalities.  AND AS SUCH, there can only be one best girl, which is what we'll determine here today. ... I never thought this would be my first countdown but it somehow feels fitting.  Number 12 - And Worst Girl.  Audrey I have many opinions about Audrey. (And certainly, didn't just do a short internet search to see if I'm missing something.) ...

Ragdoll Ramblings | April 2025

You know. I think there needs to be some form of acceptance in all of this.  Life is… difficult. Of course, I'm working towards making it a touch easier but there's always going to be some kind of strife happening, at the very least, in proximity to me. Whether it's the personal storm that swirls in my psyche or my country drop kicking its economy and morals into the nearest trash heap, I fear times are always going to be eventful.  While I'd love to be a machine that runs on spite, sometimes I succumb to the storm. And lately it has been raging but “Heave ho, onwards we row”.  Soooooo to give the tl;dr on the content:  L oveSeat has a few unedited videos but the final few still need to be recorded. I know it's April. Be nice.   RPG Sunday is fully edited and scheduled, which has been great for progress. I'm at the point where I'm streaming and uploading a VOD almost the same day.  Monday Show has no progress Retro Tuesday VODs are unedited but w...

My Experience At Awesome Games Done Quick 2026

I have been watching the speedrunning charity event, Awesome Games Done Quick, for about 10 years at this point. It is a gaming marathon where a list of gamers (called runners) play a video game on stage (and streamed online) to beat said game in the shortest amount of time possible, utilizing both advance skills and technical exploitation. Awesome Games Done Quick, abbreviated as AGDQ, has benefitted the Prevent Cancer Foundation and to date has raised just under 30 million dollars. For the last three years, AGDQ has been held in my backyard of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and this year I had the good fortune of being able to afford two badges (one for myself and one for my lady friend) as well as an overnight stay in the hotel the event was being ran at. Since I've been wanting to ramp up my creative works, I figured I would take some time to write about my first time experience and what this event has done to me.  The Pre-Pre-Show As stated above, I believe it was 2016 when I first ...
