Alien: Romulus Reminds Me Horror is Good (Review)
Foreword I have a very particular taste in horror movies. When I was young and first discovered horror, I became obsessed with it. I may be able to trace that obsession back to video games with what little footage I saw of Resident Evil 4 and how desperately I wanted to play it, despite being far too young to purchase it myself. It could also be a product of the fascination with ghosts and spirits and demons I had. Regardless, I've consumed a fair bit of the horror genre as a whole. I've played numerous games, own several books, and have watched many movies, shows and videos. Perhaps this is why I have a love and hate relationship with horror movies. I believe the problem, which is an issue for fictional media as a whole, is that horror relies heavily on the unexpected.
