Games that focus on the apocalypse have become staggeringly common. I don't think a single year has gone by without a zombie or alien oriented armageddon. With such a wide selection to choose from, 60 Seconds is a wonderful breath of fresh air. Released in May of 2015, 60 Seconds places players in a Cold War America setting. The main premise of the game is to survive the impending atomic war, a theme that is surprisingly uncommon for the survival genre. The player can choose between either Ted or Delores, family name unknown, as they rush to bring family and supplies to their bunker in just under sixty seconds. The family consists of Ted and Delores as father and mother and their two children, Mary Jane and Timmy. Once the bombs are dropped, whoever and whatever didn't make it to safety is lost forever - this game is not shy about death. When I was a child, I shared the dream that every young boy had. I wanted nothing more than to be a hero. I fantasized about soaring through the sky, rushing to someone's aide. A dream I proudly still hold onto - though with less flashly fanfare.  Perhaps that is why My Hero Academia was such a treat to watch. For a while now, I heard that is was an incredible anime but it took me some time to get around to it. My delay ended up working to my benefit becauase binging this series was so enjoyable.  My Hero Academia follows the story of Izuku Midoriya, often called Deku by his rival, dreaming to be like the world's strongest hero - All Might. In the world he inhabits, people having amazing powers and abilities is commonplace. Powers, called Quirks, emerged across the world several generations ago. Hiya, folks. Been awhile since we last spoke - which I swear is not a product of today's post! (If anything, my modded Skyrim is to blame. Let's Play to come... Let's be real, like, 8 years from now. ) I had the game Animal Crossing on my mind, particularly because of a project I got cooking ( haven't even done the prep yet, you liar ), and it reminded me of Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. For those who are uncultured swine  unaware, Animal Crossing is a life simulation game. You move into a new town, along with up to three other human characters, and live among anthropomorphic characters. And that's pretty much it. You do normal life simulation stuff - fish, socialize, pay off your debt, decorate your home ECT. In the Pocket Camp mobile game you are living in a camp site, as opposed to a town or village. You have your own camper and everything. It fits perfectly alongside the main series games and it got me thinking of how great Nintendo's mobile game is. Let...

Goo morning readers, viewers and fans. I hope you are all doing well this Monday morning. It has been just over 10 days since my last post on this blog - and while I personally feel an explanation isn't necessary, I'd still like to give one.  First and foremost, this blog, along with my fiction writing and YouTube videos, are not my money maker. All the creative things I do, unfortunately, are side gigs don't pay my bills. And being an adult, despite me not acting like, requires me to prioritize the responsibilities I have. I work 5 days a week at a physically demanding job for 9 hours a day. I'm sure you can see how this could leave an individual drained and yearning for the sweet release of laziness. It's A Brand New World We Live In Pokemon Sword and Shield are rapidly approaching. November 15th is practically around the corner. The release of the first mainline, home console Pokemon game will soon be on every Switch everywhere.  And this mad lad!  Wants to visit every generation before the game is released!  I am proud to announce that Pokemon will be invading both my YouTube Channel and this blog in massive volume in what I am dubbing:  Let's go over the itinerary, shall we? Newgrounds has always been a great source of fun and quirky indie games and animations. This large site has continuously been putting out great content since 1995. Other then all the user generated media, occasionally the founders of this site release some great work – one these instances being the game Castle Crashers. Developed by The Behemoth and release in 2008, Castle Crashers is a 2D beat 'em up style game with a whole lot of charm, epic moments and some great laughs. The story is simplistic and doesn't need to be anything more. The unnamed kingdom that our colorful knights belong to are having a party when they are attacked. We quickly learn that the four princesses were kidnapped and the magical crystal has been stolen. It is the duty of our knights to travel the land and retrieve all that was taken. Dusk of the Final Day Yesterday I was discussing the past 2 days of E3 with my friends. I made a comment, being mostly disappointed in what was shown. I said "I miss the days of E3 when big bombs were dropped... Like Nintendo announcing a new Zelda."  Today. Nintendo dropped bombs. But let's unpack it slowly.  Nintendo's Conference Before the show began there was talks about who the new character in Smash woul be. A lot of speculation but none of it towards the Dragon Quest characters we received. The show opened with the reveal of some characters I didn't know the name of. I just couldn't help but think about everyone who would undoubtedly be disappointed.  We went into the direct with talking and a cute skit concerning Bowser and the new Nintendo of America CEO, Doug Bowser.
